Position Details
The Cabinet, Communications and Corporate group is responsible for providing core whole of government and departmental services. The group is responsible for overseeing Cabinet management, strategic communications, engagement and protocol (including behavioural insights), corporate governance, public sector reform and the department's corporate services. The group delivers high quality and responsive support and services across a range of disciplines to provide integrated, contemporary and innovative solutions to enable the department to deliver on its objectives.
The Corporate Governance branch undertakes a range of organisational projects to support DPC in achieving governance requirements. These projects include: coordination of DPC's annual budget submission; reporting departmental performance measures, including reports and plans; managing DPC's business continuity program; coordination of Public Accounts and Estimates Committee hearing preparation and response to questions; managing DPC's risk and internal audit activities; and maintaining and advising on DPC's suite of insurance covers.
As the Adviser, you will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and promote transparent and accountable government through supporting departmental budget and performance reporting to Parliament, the Premier, Ministers and senior executives.
